Programme

The SI Alumni Zambia is an Association of Zambians who graduated from Swedish Universities and benefited from the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship. The Association is non-profit making. The main aim of the Association is to facilitate and encourage alumni to contribute to national development and provide an avenue for knowledge sharing and expertise in assorted sectors. The main objectives of the Association are:

  1.  Active participation in driving sustainability and sustainable technologies. 
  2. Creating awareness about environmental sustainability and other important social issues. 

The aim of this seminar is to launch the SI Alumni Network in Zambia, and also look at Renewable energy and sustainable development goals.

The Seminar will focus on the future of Renewable Energy in Zambia, Renewable energy management and policies in Zambia and Sustainable development goal number 7- A case for Zambia.

We have a maximum of 60 Seats available. Please fill out the registration survey by no later than 16th April, 2017, and we will confirm your attendance on the 17th April, 2017.

Travel and or accommodation costs are not covered but Seminar attendance is free and fika/ snacks will be provided.

The Event will be held at the University of Zambia from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm on 20th April, 2017
